This hole in the wall is worth visiting. The food and service were great. Our waitress saw us quickly, brought out our food fast and the food was great!
Super Tasty Vietnamese Food! I visited for weekday linch and had a great meal. The restaurant has table service, but no fountain drinks. So, sodas are served in cans. The food I tried delivered excellent flavor. I started with the Vietnamese Pancake with Pork & Shrimp. It had a velvety custard flavor that was both sweet and savory. The bean sprouts added cru ch and the proteins delivered the right amount of fat to make each bite delicious. I highly recommend the pancake as a complete meal for 1 person or as an appetizer for up to 4 people. The Steak and Meatball Pho was a great entree. Hot, fresh, flavorful, and a large portion size. Delicious. The food is very good here and the prices are fair. I look forward to returning soon.
l have been dining at Kien Giang for twenty years or more. It was my first Vietnamese cuisine restaurant experience l had in Nashville, and they have had consistently great quality, ever since l first dined there. It is always clean, great fresh quality ingredients, most excellent dishes that they serve, along with excellent beverages, my favorite is Café Sua Da, iced coffee with sweetened condensed milk; and the waitstaff and management are kind, helpful, and professional, and greet you with a smile every time l visit their most excellent restaurant! It is in my opinion, the very best Vietnam cuisine restaurant in Nashville.
Have been here three times and gotten the same tofu vermicelli bowl each time! Always comes packed with toppings that when mixed together make a refreshing meal. Also tried the veggie summer rolls this time, which were delicious and freshly made. Service was great--here, you go to the counter to pay. Always enough seating, and the parking lot is huge. Looking forward to coming back!
Combo fried rice was edible, the pho was great but we ordered take out and the pho I ordered was different than what I got. Would still order again
